AP gives students the chance to tackle college-level work while they're still in high school—whether they're learning online or in the classroom. And through taking AP Exams, students can earn college credit and placement.

Taking AP courses and exams in high school can help students:

Earn College Credit and Placement

AP scores could earn the student college credits. Most AP students who enroll in four-year colleges start school with some credit.

Save Money and Time

Earning credit or placement can open up time on a student's schedule or even let a student graduate early.

Stand Out to Colleges

“AP” on high school transcript shows college students are motivated to succeed, and taking the exam demonstrates your commitment to tackle and complete college-level work.

NorthSouth can help your student prepare well for these AP exams.
